Slide The journey through the final months with a pet can be incredibly challenging and also rewarding. It is a period of time where we can diligently give back in nurturing care a small piece of the love they gave us all our years together. This path is often unpredictable and changes quickly. Dr. Freed is passionate about partnering with pet families to walk this path together, so no pet parent feels lost or alone during the most impactful time of a pet's life.

To best support families Dr. Freed offers Continuous Hospice Care plans. Continuous Hospice Care (CHC) is an option for all of our Quality of Life consultation clients. After your initial consultation, if additional guidance is desired, follow-up visits will be scheduled based on your specific pet's needs and stage of disease. Regular check-ins with Dr. Freed or our veterinary nurses allows for your pet's care team to assess every change and evolve treatment alongside disease.

Benefits of Continuous Hospice Care:
  • Priority communication
  • Comfort Kit planning
  • Pre-booked pricing on follow-up visits
  • Relief knowing you have access to professional support throughout
