Dr. Freed will arrive at your home with years of in-home experience, an open heart, and endless compassion for your family. After meeting your loved one, she will answer any questions, alleviating any worries prior to beginning. Dr. Freed comes alone to the home to ensure privacy and comfort for the family. During the process she welcomes the sharing of memories, reading of poems or burning of candles or incense. Calm music can help to create a sense of ease for all present. She will begin by administering an injection of a calming medication to relax your pet and allow them to fall into a heavy sleep. Once they are relaxed and all are as prepared as possible, she will administer the second medication that allows them to pass. After your pet has passed, a complimentary clay paw print impression will be made and a lock of fur will be trimmed to cherish. Your pet will be transported for cremation and their ashes returned directly to your home if elected.

Choosing to end a pet's suffering is the most painful decision pet parents have to make. While the heartache cannot be alleviated, Dr. Freed will strive to make your final moments together as peaceful as possible.

Specialized training in the practice of euthanasia has equipped Dr. Freed with the knowledge and skill needed to tailor the process to each individual pet's needs. No two final days are the same but all of them can be peaceful if planned.
